I'm rating this on fighters I've seen enough footage of so fighters like Greb will not be included.

    Heavyweight: Muhammad Ali
    Light Heavyweight: Michael Spinks
    Middleweight: Marvin Hagler
    Welterweight: Sugar Ray Leonard
    Lightweight: Roberto Duran
    Featherweight: Salvador Sanchez
    Bantamweight: Eder Jofre
    Flyweight: Miguel Canto

I haven't really seen Charles at Light Heavyweight nor Robinson's fights at Welterweight so I'm not including them in my personal list. Again this is fighters I've seen enough footage of in decent quality.

Good reply, I wish the bloody quote function would work but modern technology has.a way with f*cking with me. The emojis don't work either. I tried to join here about 10 times for example over the last couple of years so thank god it finally worked.

Based solely on fights contested in those divisions

HW - Louis. Can see Ali just as easily
    LHW - Charles, clearly
MW - Greb. Monzon's dominance pushes him close
    WW - SRR, clearly
LW - Leonard. Not much to choose between him and Gans
    FW - Pep, clearly
BW - Jofre. Olivares and Ortiz also have good shouts for GOAT
Fly - Wilde. Strictly at Fly Canto has a good case too

    HW - Ali
    LHW - Charles
MW - Robinson (I'm reluctant to name Greb w/o seeing footage of him)
    WW - Robinson
LW - Armstrong (based on winning the WW title while weighing 1.5 lb over the LW limit)
FW - Pep (I sometimes rate Saddler tied for #1 based on their H2h outcomes)
    BW - Olivares
    Fly - Wilde

Some great posts on here folks. So glad I finally managed to register.

Greb is the Holy Grail, there must be some footage in a private collection somewhere. But much like priceless scientific dinosaur fossils these days, the rich hold sway.

If nothing else Harry's resume is almost like science fiction.

Allowing for newspaper decisions, if we only consider Greb's fights in the 1910's he'd still have an argument as having the deepest win resume in history.

Similarly, factoring in only his contests from the 1920's, one could would still make that same argument.

His career win resume as a whole is just absurd in both it's quality and it's depth.

I know right!!! Lol but it was so hard with a few weight classes, especially when considering the amount of talent that's been in a few of them...
    I'll do better ...
