Happiest
1. Willie "The Worm" Monroe beating Marvin Hagler
2. Joltin' jeff Chandler returning the BW title to the US (and Philly) after a 30 year absence
3. Frazier beating Ali
4. Holyfield demoralizing Tin Foil Tyson
5. Watching Azumah Nelson vs salvador sanchez (still my favorite, non Philly Phight)


Saddest:
1. Fraziers corner calling it quits in manilla
2. Richard steele stopping meldrick with seconds left
3. The deaths of some fine boxers through the years
4. guys who stay around too long
5. seeing the effects of prolonged boxing on the mental capacity of boxers, Meldrick springs to mind

 

Happiest: Seein Calzaghe beat Lacy an Kessler, Hatton vs Tszyu, Hopkins vs Pavlik

Saddest: Gatti losin to Gomez, Hatton to Pac, Roy Jones' last few fights

 

Happy seeing Calzaghe beat Lacy.

Happy seeing Margarito beat Cotto.

After all the news was revealed I was happy seeing Mosley KO Margarito.

Sad about Johnny Owen and his death.

Sad about the way Roy Jones Jr lost against Green.

 

Saddest boxing moment:

When Mike Tyson lost to Buster Douglas. I felt he was cheated because they gave Buster that loooooong sloooooowww count.

 

Yup that was a slow count.
...also one of my saddest moments, and every time Iron Mike lost.
kind of made me tune out boxing now and then when they happened.

happiest: pac making dlh quit on his stool and eventually retiring.

saddest: when i heard diego corales died

Penalosa KO Gonzales- although I picked Penalosa to stop Gonzales. I actually predicted it BODY shot and everythang.

Saddest:.
Penalosa got a beating from Juan Ma.I was never a num1 Penalosa supporter.I realized then how tough this old guy was and he won my heart.Sad that it took that fight to do it for me.Looking at his fight with Dele and many others in the past.I got alot of a RESPECT for the old man.I get EMO thinking about it.
