Well the boxing year is effectively over. I know Kameda fights on boxing day but that's it, no more till the likes of Lara, Alexander, Bradley etc don the gloves next month.

So what was your highlights of 2010 and how will you cope until the next rbr by Ishy?

I also loved Mayweathers performance against Mosley.

    A few of mine:

Floyd getting caught early by Mosley but going on to win comfortably.
Martinez KO over Williams in rematch.
Carl Froch beating Arthur Abraham decisively.
Ricky Burns recovering from a first round knockdown to just edge out Roman Martinez.
Manny 'BANG BANG BANG' Pacquiao v Joshua Clottey.

Domestically for me it was the Steve Foster KO after looking like he was up against it. A proper "WTF??????" moment nearly up there with the Martinez-Williams KO albeit at a much lowe level of boxing.

Kessler leaving itt all on the line against Froch. Especially that last round!
Froch coming back brilliantly against AA.

Hopkins recovering from two early kd's to school Pascal only to be jobbed by the judges.

Pirog flattening Jacobs and completely surprising american boxing.

Its good to see young prospects having the balls to take each other on. Probaly the fight I was most hyped about this year with the possible exception of Kessler-Froch.
    Bring on Degale-Groves.

The highlight of the year for me was Martinez beating Pavlik. I wanted him to do it, but thought Kelly would overpower him. Me and my mate stayed up to watch it and when Martinez started to come back strong in the final third we were roaring at the tv.

Then it would probably be Casey winning prizefighter, and seeing him pick up the EBU strap.

Oh, and going over to see the Mag 7, that was a good nite.

I think we'll see that fight the back end of next year. Hope its worth the wait.

Things I will remember most about 2010:

    Martinez KO2 Williams

    Ricky Burns vs Roman Martinez

Pacquiao looking at the ref late on in the Margarito fight.

Martinez KO2 Williams - was expecting a Martinez wins but not by KO and certainly not that early and in such devastating fashion. Was a proper "WTF just happened!" moment when watching live

Burns-Martinez - When Ricky was dropped in the first I thought yeah, he's just not good enough and then we saw a great fight with a great performance from Burns :happy

A couple of Enzo Mac moments - when he went to Russia to fight this unknown guy with a decent looking record. There was only a really choppy legal stream and everyone expected Enzo to fail but he stopped the guy in one.

Then Enzo falling apart against Frenkel. Was really sad, he'd being boxing alright was winning the round and I was starting to think he could do it. Then he got dropped heavy and the ref allowed him to go on :patsch

Sykes-Buckland - I'm a big Sykes fan, my favourite domestic fighter, and that was very
disturbing for me. Sparked by one punch :-(

Froch-Abraham - shitting myself throughout knowing AA could end it with one punch. Even in the 12th with Froch just needing to hear the bell I couldn't relax

And finally on a positive note the Mag 7 coming off more or less as planned. Only lost Barker-Macklin and Rhodes-Konecny but we got a great night of boxing.
