Khan 116-112, should've won even with the deductions...

i cant remember peterson landing any really decent combinations, cant remember him out throwing or outlanding khan, didnt do better with ring generalship.

khan clearly won a close ish fight.

    lamont knows this.

khan will have rematch won aslong not in D.C!

the ref and scorecards should be investigated, highly supsicous with how long cards took to announce.

Didn't score the fight, but thought khan would scrape a decision without point deductions.

Who the **** was this referee? Had he done any big fights before?

Khan eeked out a close win.

Had the 12th round deduction been for hitting on the break it would have been justified, IMHO...

strange that HBO/GBP would allow an unproven/unknown ref for a fighter they're banking on.

Khan did enough to get the win, though.

I do, however, think it's hilarious that the same people that insist Froch rightfully got the nod against Dirrell are ignoring that Khan (literally) ran A LOT more than Dirrell. Small consolation.

I had it a draw so without that it would have been Khan by a point.

It's funny you should bring up Froch-Dirrell, because this fight left the exact same taste in my mouth in one big regard. I've posted this same opinion in my Dirrell-Froch post fight comments :

It was frustrating as **** to witness a visiting fighter not expect home town bias. Both Dirrell and Khan fought like they weren't expecting it when there's thousands of examples of boxing history that show how likely it is to happen. That's a real world factor that must be accounted for, and the time to adjust for that is before the fight. Noticing it afterwards just shows they didn't do their ****ing history homework.

It's not fair that that's the way boxing is, but that aspect of the sport has been there from the beginning. Fighters cannot afford to ignore that reality.

    113-112 for Khan, I think.
