Active fighters not included. Let's keep this list to "classic" or retired fighters. Why do you dislike them? For me: Vinny Pazienza - Ol' Pizza Face got more mileage out of being mouthy and white than just about any I could think of. Never really beat a top fighter when they were at their best (don't try to suggest he beat Haugen the first time) yet acted as if he were a Hall of Famer. Ick. He was a pretender, nothing more. Ray Robinson - Probably the greatest fighter that ever lived, but an absolutely reprehensible human being and I have always been more the kind to root for the underdog, which he rarely was up until he turned about 250. I also think he is severely overrated at middleweight. Not that I like or dislike a fighter based on how great they were, that kind of thing is fairly unimportant to me actually. Just sayin'......... Bobby Czyz - Another carefully moved and matched fighter who was only ever of interest to anyone because of his pigment. And the ego on this one........jesus. Try beating some real good fighters before spouting how great you are, Bobby. Nicolino Locche - I just find him unwatchable. Such a negative style. He seems more like a circus freak than a fighter. Now you! This will be fun!
Naseem Hamed-The only fighter i had deep hatred for, heartbreaking when he beat kelley who came so close.Barrera is a GOD After reading the brilliant Live Fast, Die Young the Life and Times of Harry Greb Gene Tunney came across as one of those evil movie villains
Hamed for me. His arrogance, taunting of downed opponents...his miserably long, self indulgent ring entrances were pure bull****....why the hell that crap was allowed is beyond me... To me, MAB became one of my favorite fighters of all time just for his masterful whipping of this Moslem *******.
Patterson- A phony champion. Dodged the top contenders. Couldn't stay on his feet. Ali- Good fighter with a loud obnoxious mouth.
Naz was the best you are just a bigot. If he had healthy hands and came in shape he would have beaten Barrera. Barrera didn't whip him he won 115-112 fight was even after 7 rounds. Hamed easily the best featherweight of the last 20 years.
Hamed is a good call, I remember in 1997 hbo began a huge push to spread his name in NYC. They bought billboards in Times Square, ads in the subway and telephone booths, even on taxis I was like this guy has done nothing for this marketing. Then laughed as it nearly imploded with his first fight against Kelly. Nothing but his power impressed me I thought he was KO waiting to happen I was wrong there but once Barrera outclassed him he disappeared.
Lots of fans didn't care for Naz Foreman and not because their bigots. He was unconventional with a big punch and I don't think he came close to fulfilling his potential which is a shame.
I absolutely loath Calslappy... The guys is one of the worst examples of "I ducked all the top fighters in my division while they were a threat to me" and yet he still gets all the credit in the world... What makes it worse is that he absolutely could have beaten a lot of the guys he ducked in his prime. With the exception of a prime Roy Jones, he was probably the most athletically gifted fighter in and around that era... And yet, the prospect of losing that "0" terrified him and ruined what could have at least been a great attempt at a legacy The guy even ducked Carl Froch and Chad Dawson... Get out of here with that BS
Bernard Hopkins. Used to love him. So tire of his act at this point. His performance against Calzaghe was reprehensible. Pazienza is a good call. The roided up Guido act really made my blood boil.
