Based solely on his fighting style, John Ruiz is my least favorite fighter, past or present. - Chuck Johnston
Tony Ayala Jr. POS inside and outside the ring. Spat on an opponent that he dropped, continuously hitting the opponent even after the ref stopped the fight. Then goes on to breaking into houses, beating up and raping young girls, only to be released from prison time and time again.atsch Not to mention the bull**** gym stories he gets and how his padded record make it seem like he can was the greatest thing and even compete with the likes of Duran, Leonard, Hagler, or Hearns. Lost to the first good opponent on his record in Yori Boy Campas. The fact that he actually had some talent and potential is even more sad. Disgusting human being.
Yeah ill go Hamed The guy who said Patterson, cmon man.. Pattersons gotta be one of the most likeable guys
I don't like the rabbit punchers. Worst was probably Wepner. So strong and durable and that's about all he did on the inside. And he was good enough to get on the inside, unfortunately. Wide punching Bowe and Benn were bad at the rabbit punching also. Not so intentional with these 2, but they threw a lot of them due to the arc of their punches. It sure never stopped them from throwing them anyway and it's always been one of the least penalized infractions in the sport. a guy might get a ton of warnings, but minimal points off. A damaging punch.
while I admired the skill and punching power of terry Norris, his spell as champion was spent beating up old blown up welters and he always threw bombs at downed opponents. I loved lennox lewis early on and his brutal kayo of razor Ruddock was a real statement. He was a big lad and he walked in and got the job done. but after the mcall loss he became horribly gunshy and it wasn't nice to watch his overly cautious, safety first approach against much smaller men despite having every conceivable advantage. clinch, jab, lean on etc. not my cup of tea
Naz was a complete gimp of a guy and he's still a ***** when interviewed. His ring entrances captured the audience but my **** it was cringe worthy to say the least. He was also overrated with bad fundamentals and had a style tailor made for sharp shooters/counter punchers. Kelly gave him trouble and MAB beat him handily. Say what you want about his hands or his training, he still was very lucky he never faced a guy like Marquez who would have countered the **** out of him brutally.
I liked Paz because he always showed balls. I detested Naseem Hamed.Disliked the Cuban Gonzalez for the way he enjoyed torturing Snipes.
