I don`t like watching any of Morales losses tbh even tho the majority of them are good/very good fights but the Raheem fight was like a sparring match, boring as **** & the only time in Erik`s career he never went all out at one point in the fight.

Part 1 of my piece on him in the British Forum Encyclopedia thread. You'll find all you need there my friend, but I'm on me iPhone, and about to crash out so can't provide a link (you'll find it)

If just one fight, his losing effort to Don Curry in their 2nd fight is as good as any. For a winning performance, him finally claiming the no.1 spot at 147 by battering Lloyd Honeyghan after outclassing him in every department is a must :good

James Toney is one of my favourites, and I don't like watching Peter II or Rahman at all.

    On Tyson and Hopkins

    Tyson-McBride- hurt me so much

Hopkins-Calzaghe- I have Hopkins winning by one point and have scored it multiple times, but lets be honest, I respect them both so much but that fight is **** to watch.

Barrera was my favourite fighter for many years, I can't call it, I loved them all, even when he lost they were good fights so I have no issue watching the display. I didn't like him smashing up Johnny Tapia that much because I like Tapia and thought he was immense in his lighter prime, s if forced to pick I'd say Barrera-Tapia

Sorry, missed this part the first time.... mine`s would have to be Morales v Espadas 1 but even then there were vicious exchanges early on, it wasn`t a bad fight, Morales just boxed on the backfoot longer than he usually does & that was seen as negative by his standards at that stage in his career.

Ps. A couple of fights in Morales recent comeback haven`t been action packed but this is not the real Morales so I`ve left those fights out of this particular thread.

    :good

MAB-Tapia is quality. Tapia lasted the distance and even won a few rounds. He didn't disgrace himself in that one, T. I do see what you mean though about having to watch Tapia get beat. Everyone loves Tapia.

Marquez-Norwood or Marquez-Mayweather. I had him beating Norwood but that fight was horrendous, and Marquez's body against Floyd was just not built correctly and threw everything off for him, making it his only clear loss.

yeah, he gets really done though, the way Barrera closes it jumping round in and out and smashing him with combos, great display by Barrera like.

Marvin Hagler vs Roldan. Just awful performance from Hagler. I guess he was struggling to get motivated for Roldan after the Duran event. Ate just about everything Roldan threw at him and never got out of second gear. Think there's actually a reasonable possiblity he might have dropped a decision if the thumb hadn't happened, although he might have resorted to an all out assault late in the fight if he was trailing.

As my favourite boxer of all is Muhammad Ali,his fight with Larry Holmes is the obvious choice.

Yep, any of Roy Jones losses are devastating to me.
