I'm 33 years old. As a teenager I started to follow boxing with Leonard as my first favorite boxer when I saw him dazzled through Hagler. Next was Tyson for his utter destruction of opponents during his prime. But I was just a casual fan then. It's was the time of Tito when I really became a boxing addict. Although I'm not Puerto Rican living in my country then, I loved Trinidad nonetheless like he was one of our own. Then came the biggest boxing breakthrough from the Philippines, my fellow national Manny Pacquiao. I must admit nobody will replace him in my heart forever, just as Ali or Jordan for other fanatics. When Pacquiao retires I am really going to root heavily for Darchinyan. There's something about Vic, something special that we who loves the sport only knows...

    My list:
    Leonard
    Tyson
    Trinidad
    Pacman
    Darchinyan (soon)

MANY favorite fighters. Too many to list. But only ONE "Boxing Idol"...

Sugar Ray Leonard. That was my guy. When he was in the ring, I was in the ring with him. As a 7 year old kid I remember watching those fights like I'd bet a million dollars on them. I used to have a little shrine to Sugar Ray in my room. I used to wear a Sugar Ray Leonard boxing robe to elementary school! Plus, my name is Ray so everybody called me Sugar Ray. I always got pumped up for a Lennox Lewis fight, I enjoyed watching Mayweather and I'm a HUGE Pacquaio fan but I don't "IDOLIZE" those guys. I idolized SRL.

Marvin Hagler and Manny Pacquiao.. Although I wasn't around during Muhammad Ali's time, he's also one of my boxing idols..
