I didn't see Lopez vs. Mtagwa so that's why I'm requesting your cards for this fight.I would like to get an idea of where the majority stands. Since the official decision was unanimous, I kind of think Lopez may have been the true winner. Help me out people.
Lopez got saved by the bell in some of the last rounds. There were times when he got nailed and was clearly hurt, and right when Rodgers was going to finish him "ding ding". I think it was the last round as well JuanMa was lucky the ref didn't wave of the fight. I give JuanMa credit for not quitting, it could be the weight issue that had him too weak in that fight.
yup. lopez dominated early rounds then got caught. Fight shifted to mtagwa but because lopez was able to stay on his feet it was to late for mtagwa to win the fight without a knockdown.
I think I had it something like 7-5 for Lopez, but wouldn't of disputed a draw. Like I said, that fight could of been stopped by the way Lopez looked in the last round, a more cautious ref just might of.
I saw one clip from the last round, I think it was the last round, and Lopez looked to be in pretty bad shape. Was the whole fight action packed or just in spirts?
The fight was scored right. Lopez won the majority of the early round but it seems as though he got tired by trying to knock out Mtagwa: Lopez is tough. I do not think that Mtagwa chin would stand up to Gamboa's assault: he is a crude slugger.
I also haven't seen this fight, anyone know if its going to be repeated or anything as the two are fighting this weekend?
