Your Main Indicators of Skill?

    I always look at footwork: does the guy put himself in position to attack and defend. I'll forgive a youngster for coming a little too far forward at times or moving a bit too much if he's a pure boxer, but all in all, I want his feet to set up his hands.

    Once that's set, I look for hand speed and accuracy before power. Shots have to land to have effect and power often comes with development.

    Defense, variety of punches, and punching technique are the main things I focus on.
