Your most boring fight of the year, so far ...

Ridiculous. Oscar-Floyd was a decent fight.

Skelton-Sprott or Spinks-Taylor gets my vote.

 

There is nothing ridiculous of nominating Oscar vs. Floyd. It wasn't the most boring fight but as the author of the thread said "or most disappointing" it can definately qualify as most disappointing cause lots of fans had higher expectations for the fight.

However Spinks Taylor i agree was far worse fight if you take away all expectations and rationally judge.

 

1. Dirrell-Stevens
2. Taylor-Stinks
3. Briggs-Liakhovich, if that was this year. Can't remember. If not, then Foreman/Thomson.

Can't say I've seen Sprott/Skelton, and based on the comments here, I don't plan on it.

 

Taylor Spinks I actually got pissed off watching that crap JT sucks he didn't even attempt to cut off the ring or throw punches

 

I didn't. I turned it off. Really starting to hate watching Taylor, and have always hated Spinks.

 

Yeah, it would've been real smart for Taylor to throw punches at air. How many boxers were able to cut off the ring against Spinks?

Dirrell vs. Stevens... taylor spinks at least boxed... klitschko austin at least gave us a rare one handed knockout reel....

i was at the zab-cotto fight and nearly fell asleep during the peter "kid chocolate" quillin fight, cant remember who he was fighting
and dirrell vs stevens was probably a bad 3

 

At least you'll get a quick look at Oscar. Should make for a few exciting moments in the bathroom for ya :yep

 

Briggs-Ibragimov had the most boring performance all year by Briggs. Dirrell was 100X more exciting than Shannon. And Sultan didn't do too much either, extremely boring match. Klitschko-Brewster was a complete disappointment and a borefest too, because Brewster showed little effort and Wlad didn't get a huge knockout. Taylor-Spinks wasn't as boring as some people say on here. It was interesting in some ways and the Steward-Taylor in between rounds talks were funny.

 

Taylor/Spinks was definitely the worst. Hatton/Urango wasn't a whole lot better either.

 

And what made Taylor/Spinks even worse was the fact that Miranda/Pavlik was soooo damn good right before it.
