1. Manny KO'ing Hatton. Like Ricky, you could have knocked me over with a feather. 2. Mosley fronting out Mayweather in the post fight interview. I thought they might go right there. 3. Being flabbergasted that Haye was given the decision over Valuev, when he clearly didn't deserve it. Completely disappointing.
Froch/Taylor. I remember jumping out of my seat when Taylor got hurt, knocking the control on the floor and having the channel change a few seconds before the ref stopped it.
Best fight for pure grit, determination and edge of seat/jumping out of the seat drama of 2009!! If anyone hasn't seen this fight they should check it out here link [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJ3KQx5uZTM[/ame]
Well he did win the majority of the rounds, try to engage and actually fight. Haye ran away all night and landed one good shot at the end. It was a complete robbery. Go watch the tape.
same. I was so pumped for that fight and was right in front of the tv throwing punches myself. Because of the time difference it was about 5.00am here in the UK. Man I just love that. I always set the alarm for about 3.30 or 4.00 so I can watch one or two fights before the main event. I get up, make some green tea and sit down to watch the fights, but if my fave fighters are on, I watch while standing. I don't usually shout a lot and I can't anyway when everyone else is still sleeping.
I can't find any compubox info, but it wasn't many. Valuev was just a place holder for that belt, but Haye is even less. I can't wait until we have a unified hw champion.
Mosley hurting and finishing Margarito. Pacquiao-Hatton, the whole 2 rounds. Martinez avenging his KD in the first round against Williams. The majority of Maidana-Ortiz.
When Manny Pacquiao knocked Miguel Cotto down in the third and fourth rounds...I was watching the fight at a sports bar, where 70% of the people in there were rooting for Cotto. Let me tell you, I went absolutely ape-****!
