Gatti-Ward 1, I left my prom early to catch the replay. My dad had watched it live and was beside himself when I got home. My dad's a pretty calm guy, and a long time boxing fan, so I know it was a big deal.

Later on, Lewis-Klitschko. I was watching the fight, about 2 feet from the screen because my roommate was having a party at our apartment. My friend said he was watching me from afar and said I was moving my head like I was in the fight, a quirk I had no idea I had at the time, but have caught myself doing it sense. I have no fighting experience, so pretty funny that I do that just from watching.

 

The American fights don't seem to generate the same crowd atmosphere and energy as the classic British fight nights. Some examples of vintage Brit fight nights:

Having said that it's also very hard to beat the Heavyweight golden era late 80's through 90's. Some classic fight nights Bowe v Golota springs to mind for the mad in ring brawl and Holyfield v Bowe with the parachute guy.

Mu scariest one was in Fort Worth Texas, Two big HW's were mauling each other
I was sat right next to the judge on the ring apron. Both fighters bounced into ropes above us & the top rope gave way Nearly 600 pounds of humanity balanced above us we"re trying to stop them falling on us Ref Jerry McKenzie hanging on to their legs Thankfully no one was hurt. But we both said out prayers I can tell you lol

When Jones lost to tarver I felt like I got kicked in the balls. I was a kid and it hurt to see that

I admit though I love tre big crowds they get me pumped. Wilder Vs Joshua in England would get my juices flowing.

Just to clarify, khan is Pakistani so not an Indian although they all look the same lol.
An Indian would probably having a party if khan lost.
