Your most intense experience watching a fight live?

This is my feelings throughout the AJ/Wlad.

 

Julio Cesar Chavez vs Meldrick Taylor was another one, because everyone thought Chavez was going to lose, and even the announcers were speechless when Chavez dropped Taylor in the last round.

It was funny that Lampley, SRL, and Merchant were all silent and with their mouths open when they saw Chavez drop Taylor. They all acted like they saw a ghost.

Instead of Lampley saying, "DOWN GOES TAYLOR", or "CHAVEZ LANDS A RIGHT CROSS AND DOWN GOES TAYLOY"!!!, Lampley just sat down quiet and surprised.

 

The discernment and precision of Chavez' work in that one is still very underrated, notwithstanding all the acclaim the bout receives for the gelling of the styles and the dramatic finish. His composure and patience in the 12th was extraordinary, too, all the way up to that last 25 seconds, highlighting how fine a line it can be between calculating genius and "blowing it, kid".

It makes that moment perfect, though, adds to the sense of shock and awe of the TV viewer, with nothing but the roar of the crowd to accompany the action.

 

Yeah, that was one dramatic finish.
