I know acting when I see it ... he was winning the fight clean, he was faster, and beating Hopkins to the punch. He was also moving effectively ... then all of a sudden he went down.

I've seen fighters get hurt with body blows and that didn't look like one.

Oscar had his head down so no one would see him laughing ...

That was the performance of the century --

I dont see the big deal with mayorga being laid out by oscar. Trinidad did it first and quite viciously i might add. May not have been as dramatic but he knocked dude down three times in teh same round. First three times mayorga touched the canvas.

That Johnson KO of Jones was shocking as hell ... they had to give Roy the smelling salts and his arms were still up. Considering I didn't know who Johnson was - was also shocking.

He wasn't winning the fight on my card. And the two rounds previously he was getting manhandled and pushed back.

"Welcome to the middleweight division is the notice that is being posted at the minute."

This was JIm Watt's surmise just before the last round and I agree wholeheartedly. Oscar saw the writing on the wall and it was a factor in his failing to climb from the canvas.

Not fight moments, but shocking, devastating boxing memories:

-news on the passing of Leavander Johnson (R.I.P. champ!)
-news on the shocking Corrales motor accident (R.I.P. champ!)
-news on any fatal boxing incident

Yeah, this one was a shock, although I actally new Johnson pretty well and thought he would give him trouble, I never, ever thought there would have been a KO, and certainly not a thing as horrible as that.

Roy getting KO'd. I nearly threw up.

Karmazin getting KO'd is something I hate to watch for some reason

That Karmazin KO was nasty and he didn't look like himself.

Tito getting KO'd by B-Hop was terrible ...

Tito dropping Vargas 2wice in the first ...

JMM getting k'd down by Pacquiao 3-times ... if that was any other ref, that fight wouldve been stopped.

Wlad brutally beating the **** out of Byrd. I wasn't a big byrd fan (ha ha) but it was shocking to see him take sooo much punishment.
