I would have Holmes in place of one of your last two, and if there were 5 faces featured, Holmes would be included with your 4.
Despite my name, that's a big overrating of Lennox... I'd put Vitali and possibly Wlad over Lennox glass jaw Lewis anyday. And Foreman should be top 5 no doubt
I would have the 4 most intimidating Mutha Truckas to have graced the Heavyweight division, all bearing their trademark snarl/ murderers stare. So for me in no particular order I'd go for: Mike Tyson Sonny Liston George Foreman Max Baer For me, the likes of Ali, Louis, Lewis et all are just too damn pretty.
I know this is going to be controversial, but I am not the biggest Holmes guy. His best wins are Norton and Witherspoon, both close, controversial affairs that some though he lost at the time, and against names that are less than awe inspiring. No rematches on those... no unification with the WBA champ... refusal to fight his mandatory...Holmes did not provide clarity, but contributed to title proliferation by giving the IBF instant credibility by accepting their at-the-time paper belt. What is more, he OPENLY bragged about all this. "I like to fight little guys for big money," and "if they want me to fight they have to give me someone I can beat." Holmes is undoubtedly great, but for me, not comparable to Marciano or Lewis, who had a great history of fighting the best.
I'm not a fan of Wilder. I'm a fan of boxing and a hater of over the top fan boys such as yourself. I challenge you to find a post of mine praising Wilder like the Fury fan boys praise Fury. In fact, I've probably given Fury more props than I've given Wilder. Being the Fury lover you are, you view me as a hater because I don't consider Fury the greatest fighter that ever stepped into the ring. And you the nerve to call me an idiot and delusional. LOL
How Lewis is different to Holmes in those parts? He never gave a well-deserved rematch to Ray Mercer. His win over Mercer was more questionable than Holmes wins over Norton and Witherspoon and he promised Ray a rematch. He never gave rematch to Vitali that he promised as well. And as for Holmes relinquishing his WBC title - well, Lennox relinqiushed WBA belt refusing to face mandatory challenger John Ruiz, then he relinquished his IBF title refusing to defend it against mandatory challenger Chris Byrd. Can't see at all how his actions are any different from Holmes' ones
I am one of the biggest Klitschko fans on this site and I admit Lennoxs career eclipsed both brothers he beat every man he ever faced either first time or byway rematch granted he not did not reign nearly as long as Vlad, so Wlad it’s just a bit below him, but not by much Vlad running the show for 10 years ranks him very high, but I have Lenox a tad bit above him
This content is protected will always be my no. 1. The other 3 are Liston, Bowe, Ikeabuchi I like the way they fought.
Glass-jaw Lewis? He was down twice in his career. Wlad was on the floor, what, 20 times? And, at the end of only six rounds against Lewis, Vitali looked like JFK when he left Dallas. In his last professional fight, Lennox Lewis beat the living **** out of Vitali Klitschko. Click on that link. Enlarge that photo so you get a good look. Then go sit down.
