    1. Fights on free TV. Exposuer is very important.
    2. One champion per division. What other sport has more than one champion? as far as I know the answer is none.
    3. A Bowl Championship Searies style ranking system. The BCS might have flaws, but a ranking system that combines servral other systems. For example I might combine Boxrec, Fightnews, ESPN and the Ring (after I made Golden Boy sell it's shares). Idealy you couldn't buy rankings.
    4. Champions must face someone in the top 4 of the above rankings or another champion. At least once every 6 months. Not doing so will result in the championship being vacated. An Injured champion returing within 18 months of their last fight will get a chance to fight for the championship in their return if they chose.
    5. Vacated championships due to injury, retirement or any reason a champion must be releved of his championship, shall be selted through an 8 boxer tournment of 12 round bouts. In the event of a draw the higher rated boxer advances.
    6. Championship fights are 12 rounds with 3 extra rounds incasse of a draw after 12 rounds.
    7. Judges must write a short description of each round so we can know why they scored the round the way they did/
    8. A program to get kids intrested in the sport. This would include bouts starting ealier, after school programs and boxing becoming a high school and college sport.

    1. 40/40/20 split for fights, period. Doesn't matter if you have a promoter or not, it's always the same pay scale.

    2. Someone mentioned a pension system. Great idea. Especially if a fighter gets retired prematurely due to injuries, he rates a certain amount of 'disabiity' the rest of his life.

    3. Tap into 'free' tv networks where local matches/tourneys can be watched, and local talent can be followed. This would then feed into national matches/tourneys, and it would actually create more buzz even if these fights took place on PPV.

Ideally I would also like the only pro organization with the boxers' association to somewhat sponsor a televised show that would showcase on the weekend, some amateur fights or the next generation of potential pros. That way you get people even more interested to follow boxers from the early stages of development and you may also add some much needed talent joining boxing, cause it's a known fact that the more something's in young men's face and the more they are tempted to at least try it....

    1. One champ per division. Semi-finals and final between the four recognised bodies (WBA,WBC,IBF,WBO) to unify the real champion.
    2. A rankings system whereby the fighter must fight say only people 5 places above or below to move places. This way there would be no so called mis-matches as boxers would have earned there place. maybes allow fights with others out of them positions if the fighter cannot move place (champions prohibited).
    3. A points system which allows boxers moving up weights to jump up the list to a certain level if they are of a high calibre (must also fight others in line to get a championship shot)
    4. More training for refs and judges. Officials must reguarly go to some form of lesson/meetings to keep up with any new procedures and also for some of them to learn the actual rules.
    5. Video replays between rounds for important issues such as head clashes, low blows etc and possibly give the judges an extra five minutes at the end of the fight to assess anything they may have been unsure of/missed.
    6. The commentators can elect a judge to question at the end of any fight whereby they explain why they scored certain rounds etc. This would also be of great amusement to see one grilled when they obviously biased.
    7. some real punishments to be thought up for proven cheaters and incompetent officials/coaches/promoters etc etc

    - Enforcement of the Ali Act
    - Majority rounds
    - A small registration fee to be tracked by a sanctioning body and not income by way of gouging title fights (which, currently, makes stupid mandatory fights and belt-stripping their cash cow); that way, unification bouts and ratings that closely match other sanctioning bodies' would be their largest source of income
    - Documented physicals to track health and make illegal drug use harder to hide
    - buy cheap tv time slots and let the marketplace show the major channels that boxing is worth full weekly or bi-weekly primetime coverage; the latino demographic, alone, should do it, since it's getting more and more network attention these days
    - Cowbell
Everything is better with sharks. The Discovery Channel swears by it.

Title fights, 13 rds (preferably 15 rds but its too unlikely since thats what it used to be)
    One belt per division.
Titles must be defended at least twice within 12 months.
4 judges + referee judge the fight.

    1. LESS ****ING WEIGHT CLASSES

    250 + super heavy
    200 + heavy
    175 + Light Heavy
    160 + Middle
    147 + Welter
    135 + Light

    2. Throw out greedy promoters

    3. 1 champion per weight class

    4. Make the rankings goverment regulated

    5. No more mismatches

    6. Same day weigh ins

    7. Smaller gloves (ufc style)

    8. Give fighters a yellow card for running/hugging or just plain refusing to engage.. 3 yellow cards = a DQ loss

    9. Actually enforce the rules of no holding/headbutting

    10. Fix the corrupt judging

I'd like to see fight night weight be the standard for weight class. Weight draining has become part of the sport, but it doesn't need to be.

This leads to fighters showing up on fight night with either an obscene weight and size advantage, or showing up dehydrated and not at 100%. Why give someone who is genically better at dropping and retaining water weight in a 48-72 period an advantage over a fighter who is possibly a better boxer?

The Super bowl of boxing would be quite amazing...

An outstanding fight card from start to finish ! It would cost a lot of $$$ to order that kind of full day card.....

It's not realistic but if it was, then boxing would become huge worldwide..no doubt !
