Martinez was already at 3 for me before last night. Such an easy win against a guy i had at 6 means he goes to 2nd. Floyd has stated he is on vacation, he fights once a year at best, and his recent wins against a slightly shot Mosley who then drew with Sergio Mora, and a blown up JMM, are not of great quality. Im not surprised if media such as Ring and others keep the top 2 the same as ever, as they want the public to continue to believe Floyd and Manny are the best 2 in the sport, in case a showdown between the pair actually does materialize. 1 Pacquiao 2 Martinez 3 Mayweather Jr.
1)Pacquiao 2)Mayweather 3)JM Marquez 4)Martinez 5)Montiel 6)V/W Klitschko 7)Cotto 8)Wongjongkam 9)Juanma 10)Ward/Bradley/Donaire
Martinez is def in the top three, the guy has face fighters like Williams and Pavlik and even a Cintron who were recent title holders, has held the WBC and WBO middleweight titles what more can you say and a KO like that over Williams who was consider to be a future face of boxing, how can you beat that esp. an opponent in his prime a young lion... That surpasses any fighters success for this year...
1. Manny Pacquiao 2. Floyd Mayweather Jr. 3. Sergio Martinez 4. Juan Manuel Marquez 5. Wladimir Klitschko
