To me Dick Tiger is head and shoulders above everyone else from Nigeria. Nigeria had some good heavyweights with Ike Ibeabuchi and Sam Peter but for the most part Nigerian fighters were overshadowed by fighters from Ghana.

Can I just pick Dick Tiger over and over? He is one of my all time favorites.

Tiger and four others that I will think of just as soon as someone else posts their names.

Dick Tiger is one of my favorites as well! A true ATG.

But we can’t forget Kid Akeem Anifowoshe, whose brief career came to an untimely end immediately following his tragic clash against Robert Quiroga at Super Fly in one of the best title fights of all time.

A great clash of styles that was...and what a pace they fought at!

Do former heavyweight title holders,Henry Akinwande and Herbie Hide count as being Nigerian boxers?
