You're not a true boxing fan if you're still dwelling on the bull**** they aired on Showtime and not basking in the afterglow of Rodriguez vs. Takayama just now.
I don't usually get mad, but to defend this fight card you either have to be a blind fanboy or quite frankly an idiot. 17 rounds, almost every one completely dominated by the favorite. Even the Showtime crew sounded embarrassed by what they were paid to witness. I hope Showtime and Espinoza are happy about turning their network over to Al Haymon. I for one will not contribute any more. And just as I was already pissed, they cut to a picture of Adrien Broner. Just a final F YOU! to the viewer.
Like I said months ago when I saw this fight card. showtime must want this to be a ko weekend. any fool could see these were all tune up fights. except for the preliminary matches shown on the other showtime channel. I was not supprised at all by the knock out extrevaganza.
If was a GGG fight everyone would be praising him, he'll the last fight of GGG falls in the same category as this one...a obviously outclass opponent fighting a world class fighter...the outcome Exactly the same!
I would love to hear how Espinoza defends spending a couple of million bucks on that crap last night.Interviewing the idiot Broner in all his splendor really tanks Showtime and really proves they will continue to be the bottom feeder in their efforts to catch HBO.:dead
