Yes and For the most part I was referring to him in his prime. And for the record I’d favor Charles. But do you deny that this is a dangerous fight for him ?
Definitely. Tua is dangerous for anyone to fight. So is shavers or Satterfield anyone with that kind of power is.
Walcott was a decent puncher by all accounts. He’s stopped the likes of Charles, Elmer Ray, Harold Johnson, Sheppard. Knocked down both Marciano and Louis. He was certainly a dangerous puncher. Better scalps then Tua.
Charles was a far better fighter but at heavyweight I just don't think he was big or strong enough to hold Tua off .. he didn't have the huge size or reach to beat him with the jab ... again, Charles was such a better fighter but size and styles matter here ...
Tua had much better defense than most people believe and had a very high work rate before he got lazy, not to mention and iron chin. Charles might be able to outbox him a few rounds but I don't see many guys under 190 pounds being able to really discourage Tua from walking through anything they throw so I'm gonna go with Tua by brutal knockout.
This would be a hysterical mismatch in terms of skill. Tua wouldn’t know were Charles was all night. David is a one dimensional hype job.
