Nothing has changed he was a great fighter going in and still is. I believed that Moseley was no threat and that's how it was. Beating Zab was a better win...

Pac is also too small to beat Mayweather.

If he wants to mak the top 30 P4P then he needs to beat Williams.

That was not a great version of Shane.

 

No version of Shane is as good as Mayweather though Flea. I don't think he's infallible either, not against all-time opposition, my stance on him hasn't changed at all, i thought he was really great before this and i still do now. By the way, i called this fight, i'll try and find my posts but it might be hard, but i said plenty of times on here and on the general, that Mayweather would stand in front of him and Shane would be bereft of ideas. Admittedly, i thought the emphasis would be on a peek-a-boo style on Floyd's behalf, rather than a sharp-shooting style. Sorry to boast, but you know how it is when you get a prediction spot on. Too bad i ****ed up with Hasegawa!

 

No doubt. Like I said, he has accomplished more than Mayweather because he cleaned out his division. He took a lot of punishment and beatings in doing so. Unfortunately, he is suffering from the beatings he took.

I think Mayweather may be past his physical best right now, but he still has the technical expertise to dominate.

The sixties had some very good fighters, but they weren't great like the seventies, Ali and Frazier were the best fighters in the

Even though floyd is definitely an all-time great fighter I personally feel that too much is being made over his win against mosley. This was not a prime mosley but a faded version who probably was overtrained for this fight, or at age 38 simply turned old that night. These things do happen and one or both of those things happened to mosley. He had nothing but heart and a strong chin going for him, no sizzling combos, no stamina, nothing. The fact that he was moved around so easily and tired so quickly ought to tell you something. Not discrediting mayweather in any way because he fought a great fight but the fact remains that mosley has been past his best for at least the past 7 or 8 years. When he fought miquel cotto he was on the decline and lost to a fighter that many expected him to beat (even though I thought he won).

I could never see him standing in the same ring as Walker, Duran,SRR,Leonard,or Hearns,it would be a utter catastrophy for him,I can see Benitez and Curry beating him to,and several others like Brealend,Starling,Honeyghan,McCroy,and Simon Brown giving him fits,and everyone of them are far more technical and adaptive than Mosely at any time in his career, and all of them except for Brown and Starling hit much harder than Mosely.All the talk about him top 20 All-Ttime is ****ing rediclulous,when those top 5 guys i named along with Curry would stretch him,and a few of them would do it in dramatic fashion to,this talk in a classic forum is just mind boggling.

 

I think Curry at his best edges Mayweather. Well, let me qualify that. If Curry stays outside and turns it into a jabbing, technical outfighting contest (as he should), I think he edges Mayweather. If Curry goes into his head to head, infighting routine, Floyd could edge him because he's craftier than even Starling. But I think that's the "tier" I'm placing Mayweather at, at 147, the Curry tier. A very tough out head to head, but not in that top tier (SRL, Gavilan, Duran, etc.). SRR is in a class by himself.
But Mayweather's not done yet. Let's see what happens with Pac.
