Compared to Mayweather's Lightweight run, which consisted of an absolute gift over Castillo and subsequent victories over greats like Philip N'Dou? I'll take a seven-year reign including two thumpings of DeJesus, a domination of Buchanan over that, thanks.

No?! What a ****ing filthy ducking *******!

Oh yeah - and Pep beats Mayweather at 130 or 135. :hey

Since when did Pep fight in one division?

More a man who respects the Black Murders row power puncher, you should give Pep more respect.

Pep bumped up to 135lb and beat one of the best of the black murders row at 135lb, a great fighter in Willie Joyce. Pep also defeated future lightweight champion Paddy Demarco.

Pep did fight lightweights too, he had wins over Willie Joyce an underrated lightweight as well as Paddy DeMarco, Eddie Chavez, Allie Stolz and numerous other ranked 135 lbers. He wasn't even a big featherweight so moving up to welterweight would have been impossible.

Nothing's changed. Floyd's a great fighter, but I fully expected what happened last night. He'd fare well in any era, I just don't think he's one of the best I've ever seen. Beating all of these old/mediocre guys really seems to be clouding people's judgement.

    Thanx! great inclusions

He also took on ATG lightweight Sammy Angott, and took him to a very close fight.

No i just think you are underrating Shane, ive never underrated May in a PFP sense but i did as far as a being a strong Welter. Mosely might have been past it but this was still a great win for Floyd and He also proved he is a physically strong Welter who would have beaten or at least held his own with Great Welters from the past.

You fully expected him to win 11-1?

Like many other greats from the past they need big challenges to thoroughly shine, Most greats from the past had mediocre showings, but shined when it counted most.

I already rated him highly. Beating a 38 years past it fighter who fights once a year does little to enhance his rep for me. He is not elite ATG yet. A great handpicked low risk/high reward opponent with whom he did what he had to do. Yawn.

You mean 10-2 and Shane almost arguably had a 10-8 round in the second.:lol: Im still trying to defend Shane even though he recieved a thorough ass beating.

He wont but I agree, Instead of it being Floyd who was shaken vs a match with speed and power, Floyd stepped up to the plate after the 2nd rd scare and Shane fizzled. Floyd is great but not sure he would survive the Leonards or Duran's or the Hearns at welter but he can survivr today and He can move up to Middle and take that title as well, not much serious talent below 160, except Floyd but Pac with speed and power is still a test for him.

I can honestly say I felt Mosley had zero chance other than landing something big. I expected it to be a late round stoppage, but I was confident it was going to be a one sided beatdown. I scored the fight 11 rounds to 1 also, but Mayweather was in big trouble in the 2nd.

I expected a comfortable win, the margin of victory really depended on Shane. Shane showed nothing (aside from his age) outside of the first 2 rounds, and Mayweather took over from there. Hardly a mind-boggling performance given that. I never really had much doubts about Floyd's defensive/durability/recuperative powers, so taking the big right hand didn't make an indelible impression, especially given how Shane followed it up. I think he'd lose to a fair few fighters throughout history, but very few would be stopping him.
