Anybody have those false memories of fights going a different way to what you remembered? I happened on either Torrez Jr. or Vianello's Boxrec page a while back (can't remember which), and was super confused to see that the Torrez/Vianello fight ended in a Torrez points win... I knew Torrez won but I swear to god I remember Torrez winning by KO, late on in the fight. At first, I thought, maybe I'm just misremembering Vianello getting knocked down once or twice... nope, no knockdowns. To be fair, when you watch so many fights every week, I suppose you can't be too surprised if they all start to blend into one. But that was my first time watching both fighters (in a professional fight anyway, I saw Torrez at the Tokyo Olympics) so I'm not getting mixed up with any of their other fights. Have you ever had any false memories in boxing like this?
