Ruiz lost that fight more than Parker won it, Parker made sure he did just enough but like I predicted whenever Ruiz would get inside he would have alot of success. Parker is going to get sparked by AJ and I would pick Hughie to school him and Ruiz. I love it when the top heavyweights fight because you notice each of them have vulnerabilities.
I just don't think the top HWs are that good at the moment, AJ looks the best but isn't proven at all. I seriously think Usyk could move up and be top 5 instantly, only AJ and Wilder might trouble him imo.
Did Parker actually throw more than Ruiz? For much of the fight Parker did nothing but pump out a fairly ineffective jab, barely threw his right hand and apart from a few of the middle rounds he let himself get bullied. Staying behind his jab he was getting pressured and beaten, he was forced to open up to try and even up the rounds but Ruiz got the better of the exchanges.
Usyk would beat Wilder imo, tricky southpaw, and he's not that much smaller than Spzilka is he? But then again Spzilka did go night night, wouldnt surprise me if Wilder knocked him out cold, but I'd say it's more likely that Usyk uds him. Wilder just seems like tricky southpaws are his absolute kryptonite, that's why I never wanted him to fight Fury, though he wanted that fight clearly. Fury batters Usyk though, way too big, his boxing skills might not be as good, but if you actually have watched a lotof Fury fights you know that he knows how to use his size and weight to his advantages though he's slick as f too.
Agree re Wilder. Usyk has the size to be successful at HW, he's a big cruiser. I'd still give Usyk a chance against Fury (boxing can be unpredictable after all), but I'll agree that Fury would be clear favourite atm. He's remarkably mobile for a huge man and has good boxing skills (although not as good as Usyk). That is assuming, of course, Fury's got himself back into fighting shape.
The Fury that fought Klitschko is, not the Fury now lol, I'd pick Usyk now, dude is some fat ass cokehead.
Usyk is 6' 3''... right on the borderline for HW in the modern era. He'll need to bring something very special to the party if he's gonna make up for significant height and weight disadvantages against someone as big and mobile as an on-point Fury.
I had it 115-113 Parker. Had him just nicking a lot of the close rounds. Ruiz had that fight for the taking if he just let his hands go a bit more. He was walking Parker down continuously, getting into good positions but not showing enough activity when he got there. Allowed Parker to strike and spin off too many times. Glad to see fair judging, I don't think anyone could legitimately say that was a robbery however they scored it
I honestly give Usyk no chance against Fury. Usyk might have better skills(flashier forsure) and that's also highly debatable, I mean who has done what Fury did to Wlad, it ttrumps everything Usyk has done, would Usyk have done that to Wlad? I HIGHLY doubt that, but then again if Usyk was 6'9 maybe lol. Fury knows how to use his size the best out of the big heavyweights like Joshua, Wilder. I really dont know enough about Joshua to pick between Usyk and Joshua though. Joshua needs to step it up.
If you subtract the kiwis, it would be 6 people out of 6. I mean really we should not count the people who had Parker winning by 3-4 I didnt watch the fight, but even the kiwis that have posted their scored cards had him winning by 1-2 points. It's obvious people who posted those cards have an agenda.
Pretty much my take on it. Also, Usyk is a bit 'flavour of the month' atm. He's undoubtedly good, possibly great given time, but I want to see a little more of him before calling him a heavyweight prospect in waiting....
lol yes, anyways I'm just messing around with the kiwis, I riled up a couple of them a while back, but the ones online now seem chill so it's not as fun.
