Post you scorecard as so with comments after.

Abraham Vs Taylor

(scored in that order)
Rd 1 9 / 10
Rd 2 9 / 9 Taylor hit Abraham LOW
Rd 3 10 / 9 Taylor's jab is not landing at all.
Rd 4 9 / 10
Rd 5 10 / 9
Rd 6 10 / 8 Taylor hit Abrahama LOW. Deducted a point
Rd 7 10 / 9
Rd 8 10 / 9
Rd 9 10 / 9 Taylor shooken by striaight right. Not to bad though.
Rd 10 10 / 9
Rd 11 10 / 9
Rd 12 KO. With 11 seconds to go. IF scored 10 / 9 Final would be:

117 / 109 Abraham.

Conclusion: Taylor is shot and can not pull the trigger anymore.
Not sure hwo the American commentators or who ever had it close. Taylors jab was not landing at all except to the gloves and arms of Abraham.

Froch Vs Dirrel

Rd 1 10 / 9 Froch swung the round late.
Rd 2 9 / 10 Dirrel not landing jab. Froch is. Dirrel running. Dirrel by 2 hooks.
Rd 3 9 / 9 Dirrel is biking it. Running isn't going to win a round.
Rd 4 10 / 9 Dirrel running again. Started good but gave it away.
Rd 5 9 / 10 Dirrel didnt run. Tried holding. Thrown down. Funny
Rd 6 10 / 9 Dirrel running. Got caught. Hitting on break by both.Funny round
Rd 7 10 / 9 Dirrel warned holding. Another warning ...
Rd 8 9 / 10 Dirrel warned holding
Rd 9 10 / 9 Froch warned for hitting ont he back of head. Good warning.
Rd 10 9 / 9 Dirrel running. Holding. Point deducted. Running but cuaght .... Froch with a good sucker punch. Was Froch hurt?
Rd 11 9 / 9 Best round of fight. Dirrel didnt run!
Rd 12 9 / 9 Lean toward Froch but not enough to give round.

Final 113/111
Judges had it
114/113 Dirrel while toher 2 had it 115/112 Froch. So I am OK with the outcome.
Notes: Tarver is a complete MORON. "it depends om what the judges are looking for" All judges are to judge on the SAME criteria which is effective aggression, clean punches, and ring GENERALSHIP. Froch splits the first 2 categories 50/50 with Dirrel but the 3rd he dominated.

Why do fighters who run ALWAYS say they are WARRIORS?
Froch's statement at end was spot on! Dirrel isn't a warrior.
Note to Dirrel - You did better when you didnt run! You should have slugged it out from get go. I think you could have stopped Froch BUT to bad you acted like you were in a marathon.

I am sorry but I don't think you know what ring generalship exactly is if you think Froch won in that department. Ring generalship is a fighters ability to dictate the pace and style of the fight and Froch could not do that.

Due to popular demand, below is a breakdown of the official scoring from the Froch-Dirrell fight from the TrentFM Arena in Nottingham, England.

Actually, what would have been a better indication of the proper score of this hard to score fight might have been allowing the round to be scored for the fighter receiving two out of three votes from the judges.

In that case you get the following:

Round 1 10-9 Froch
Round 2 9-10 Dirrell
Round 3 10-9 Froch
Round 4 9-10 Dirrell
Round 5 9-10 Dirrell
Round 6 10-9 Froch
Round 7 10-9 Froch
Round 8 10-9 Froch
Round 9 9-10 Dirrell
Round 10 9-10 Dirrell
Round 11 9-10 Dirrell
Round 12 9-10 Dirrell

Less a Dirrell point deduction

Final: 113 Froch 114 Dirrell

Dirrell got deducted 1 point in 10th for holding - something he tried about 20 times in the fight. 9 times alone in 7th.

BTW, "defense" is also a scoring criteria, even rounds should be rare, not 25% of the fight (and are scored 10-10) and if you think Rnd 11 of Fr/Drl is even, you're crazy.

hey that's fair enough, I've seen a million score cards for the froch fight and they're all different. I have no problem with abraham being ahead on the cards, taylor just jabbed gloves most of the fight.

Not wanting to get into the complexity of the 10 points must system, but how have you scored so many rounds 9-9?

Because I score constantly during a fight.
I do not feel as one fighter HAS TO WIN the round. Look at my comments on round 2 and round 3. That sums it up.

And defense is NOT running.
As I said. This was Dirrels fight to lose. His choice of HOW to fight LOST him the fight.
In a rematch. I would bet Dirrel to KO Froch.

And my moniker says what
I think of the 10 point system. It is just IDIOTIC! You can NEVER have a 10-5 round. I cant recall a 10-6 round for that matter. And even with 10-7 rounds. Very few are awarded. Most of the time the judges put it down as 10-8. I wish the judges score it 1-0. With the REF keeping track of extra 1 points earned for knock downs. But that is another thing all in it's own...
