:yep Our lists show really that we're true blue boxing NUTTERS:D the whole eclectic mix as they say between slickster & savage. If i'd sat & thought about it i'd have frozen up as i feel as guilty as **** leaving out the likes Evander/MAB/Alexis & on & on & on.

It's the 1st time i've done something like this so to do the thead justice i just reeled them off in under 10 seconds so it's ovvious they've been lurking to the for-front of the sub-concious all the time.

Frome a boxing perspective i could sit & watch the slickers 24/7/365 as in Sweetpea/Hector & El Rador & watching Benitez/Hearns for me has to be the apogee of the sport. But from a personal personality perspective it was & always will be Roberto, Bazooka & JCC as these were the 3 when in my formative years i was obsessed with in emulating in all form & maner:lol:

I should think they'll be about 10/15 with a similar list with at least 5/10 of ours, generation & nationality obviously will play a part but it'll be fun as this thread progresses to analyze some lists so as to pluck out the chancers & fanboys desperate for ESB peer cred:lol::hey

Even if it were a top 20 list of favorites, it would be so difficult for me.

    Mickey Walker- Pug-nosed and fearless.
Joe Louis- More beloved than any fighter in history, and my childhood hero.

Willie Pep- Will of the Wisp, with a sixth sense. ESP ?
Beau Jack- most action packed fighter I ever saw.

Ezzard Charles-Before Baroudi tragedy and after, a great fighter and a GENTLEMAN !
Ike Williams- uncuffed and in prime, a tall lean murderous puncher...
Mathew Franklin-Damn it was he brave ! Left everything in the ring...
Alexis Arguello- The miniature Joe Louis. Dignified, and stolid and a great puncher...
