The second Manny-Marquez fight took place at 130, mate. I take it you mean their fourth fight? Anyway, favourite Welter match ups from '94 onwards. I'll keep it to title fights...... 1) Mosley-De la Hoya I, 2000. Shane's best ever performance, showing us things he never did before and hasn't done since. Both near-prime, great technical fight, excellent achievement by Mosley in joining the likes of Ross, Armstrong, Duran etc as a Lightweight and Welterweight champion. 2) McGirt-Whitaker II, 1994. This was supposed to be another close, evenly-contested fight, like their first. Pea made it in to a procession. Definitely his finest performance as a Welter. 3) Pacquiao-Cotto, 2009. Manny was just sensational in that one. The clamour for Pacquiao-Mayweather in 2010 was already big, but it became astronomical when Pacquiao trounced Cotto. Really felt privileged to watch Pacquiao that night. 4) Campas-Trinidad, 1994. Fantastic little shootout which showed both the worst and best of Tito, which is basically why he was such a crowd-pleasing fighter. 5) Forrest-Mosley I, 2002. Vernon always blew hot and cold, but he looked like one of the most formidable Welters of all time in this one - he was that good. Easy to forget that Mosley had been on such a run beforehand that there was talk of him nudging Roy off the pound for pound number one spot.
