Canelo would also have looked old against Jacobs, who fought the fight of his life and who I don't think is getting enough credit for being the first guy to be actually competitive with Golovkin.

Brook was having little trouble landing on GGG. People said that it was because GGG was walking through his punches.. nuh uh. Honestly believe GGGs defence is his weak spot, plus hes quite methodical in the way he sets himself and throws his punches. A world class counterpuncher will keep him off balance and get to him. Imo Canelo is good enough to do that.

First I clicked draw but then a settled on GGG. But this is one of those true 50/50 fights where I believe GGG has to do more than just win to actually be the winner on paper.

Very difficult fight for both, anytime you have 2 elite fighters around the same size 1 tends to spoil the other, I've never seen GGG spoiled.

If canelo had the power and reach of jacods it'd be a done deal and GGG would be stuck with the highly unlikely task of being the dreaded punchers chance fighter.

This comes down to who prepares better and gets the fortune of having the better night. Timing beats speed but what happens when both have insane timing with 1 having insane hand speed.

Stamina is gonna kill in this fight

This will be a genuine 50-50 fight. An elite pressure fighter vs an elite counterpuncher.

Canelo has the skills to outbox GGG, i rate him higher than Daniel Jacobs, he looked in tremendous shape
against Chavez jr. and 160 pounds is the perfect division for him.

I would say Canelo's stamina is better than GGG's and he is faster, otherwise GGG has more punching power
and a better chin, a better jab and he cuts the ring off better than Canelo but Canelo has a great defense
and a decent chin as well.

Either of them could win this fight.

It is going to be hard for GGG to get a fair shake on the scorecards. No fighter has had more dubious scorecards in his favor than Canelo in recent years. GGG needs to KO or TKO Canelo.

He won't need power to keep him off, golovkin is going to box at range.

If Canelo goes the distance he gets the decision or a draw.
