Why is everyone writing off a Browne KO? I know Ruslan has an iron chin, but its been a long time since he had his chin checked, sometimes it goes to pot overnight.

I'm not writing off the possibility, I just don't think it happens.

He clearly has a punchers chance and will be dangerous throughout but he's as crude as hell, he makes throwing a jab look like some kind of complex boxing move.

You can surely see there is a huge gulf in terms of punching technique, head movement, defence etc. If Browne wins this, it will be down to his ability to take punishment, desire to win and power because he's outclassed in terms of actual ability.

I think Chagaev either wins a clear decision or stops him on cuts.

Chageav is just way too skilled for Brown. If Lucas had any athletic ability, I'd give him a good chance of getting to Ruslan. But as things are, I think a big punch just isn't enough against someone with a exeptional defence.

Chagaev is way past his best but he's always been a great technician and up until now at least his chin has been carved out of pure granite. Unless age as caught up with him and he has declined even further he should be too much for Browne.

The interesting thing about Chagaev is, for a former highly decorated amateur stand out he didn't have that extensive an amateur career (if his amateur record I've seen listed is correct that is). He was 82-3 but he holds victories over the likes of Felix Savon (twice), Odlanier Solis, and Sultan Ibragimov.

I never knew he spoke English either.

Learn how to write energie, it hurts my eyes.

Browne is looking in good shape, but the problem is he doesn't have any skills and his skin is made of wet paper. Chagaev will beat him easily, stop him probably on cuts.

Chagaev takes Browne, he's fundamentally a better boxer

As bad as Chagaev is now, he should still be good enough to beat Browne.

Browne is so basic and so slow and probably doesn't have a chin to hang at the top level. Still, i would love him to win. He does seem like an incredibly nice bloke and he has always been honest about his talent level. There really doesn't seem any of the usual bluster in Browne that you get in a lot of other fighters.
