I thought that this would be an appropriate topic to bring up. If you didn't notice there was a fight that made quite a few waves in the boxing world last night. How much has Montiel-Donaire changed your view on the 10 best? By how much has Donaire shot up? How far has Montiel fallen?

I've seen some people on here claim Donaire to be at #2, which I disagree with. I would still ascertain, like I did before the fight, that he's not in my top 4. He's clearly an excellent fighter, potentially great, but as of yet, I dont think he's quite gotten to where Pacquiao, Mayweather(I'll include him), Marquez and Martinez have, but put emphasis on the word yet. He's definitely gone up quite a bit in mine, and I expect him to continue to do so. I wasn't sure about what to do with Montiel, do you do the usual and take him out due to a loss? Or do you leave him in because of just how good the opponent who beat him was? Anyways, your going to see mine, whats yours?

    1. Manny Pacquiao
    2. Floyd Mayweather
    3. Juan Manuel Marquez
    4. Sergio Martinez
    5. Nonito Donaire
    6. Wladimir Klitschko
    7. Timothy Bradley
    8. Juan Manuel Lopez
    9. Bernard Hopkins
    10. Andre Ward/Miguel Cotto/Steve Cunningham/Fernando Montiel

    I'm removing him when he:

    A) Announces his retirement.

    B) Is inactive for an entire year.

Neither of those are the case, so I dont see any reason to take him out.

    Pac
    Martinez
    Donaire
    Wlad

Donaire should be above JMM, JMM is struggling in wars with guys like Juan Diaz & Katsidis, Donaire is KTFO Montiel.

3 months from now if Floyd has no fight, he's out of your list.

Some idiots here are saying activity/inactivity is not a factor in determinng ranking in P4P.
They said it's the boxer's skills and ability that count. Therefore, they claimed Mayweather should always be in top 5 or 10. Do you agree?

    How crazy these posters are?

Nope, Top10. I'm just undecided on the 10th spot.

    Of course.
