You represent 90% of people?. I figured you're an idiot, but that's a bit too far.

Good point although some folk don’t seem to understand that you have you can have a close competitive fight without winning rounds,Usyk v Breidis is a good example of that and it just seems now that if folk think someone done ok against Golovkin then it should be draw as they believe Golovkin should of knocked his opponent.

Canelo really impressed me,he fought well and I don’t knock him for not going toe to toe as that would of been playing into Golovkins hands but still Canelo only won four rounds, five if you’re being generous.
The ridiculous Adelaide scorecard was to draw attention away from the draw scorecard in my opinion.

Do you really think this could happen Farmboxer as I always felt that Canelo was a clean fighter in that regard, certainly nothing like Ward?
There is one really disturbing thing though that I read about Canelo and that second Ward v Kovalev fight.
This guy noticed how Wards punch resistance had gone way up from the first fight and Paul Smith even who rocked Ward and his reason was that these PEDs that strengthens the neck and head do have a massive unnatural impact on a fighters ability to take punches.
He said there’s a moment in that second fight where Kovalev really caught Ward with a big punch and he said you can see the Ref look over to Ward worried but Ward just took the punch like it was nothing and that’s exactly what happened with Canelo against Golovkin taking GGGs punches like it was nothing when we all know Golovkin has power, only his jabs rocked Canelos head back.

I think it obvious that Canelo took the PEDs to increase his size and punch resistance as it doesn’t improve you as a fighter, this guy said that late burst from Canelo in round ten and eleven after he looked totally gassed after round four was likely down to the PEDs he took.

    Exactly.

He landed some hard leather at times but spent too much time retreating, laying on the ropes and getting tagged often.

He may have landed the harder shots, but he didn’t land enough of them to win more than 3-5 rounds. GGG landed more clean punches overall.

Well that’s another one of Isals psy ops about that fight that Canelo landed the harder shots,I’d say he landed the more eye catching shots but how on earth can you tell he landed harder shots?
Love how Golovkin describes his opponents power so when recently asked about Canelos jab and if it was powerful he said no not really it was just like “tic tic tic” lol.

Boxing fan was a bit off.

    https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/ggg-canelo-media-scorecards-compubox.593770/

Only 117 out of 146 had GGG winning so that was a mere 80 %
    21 had it a draw (rounded up, that's 15 %)

9 ( including two of Canelo's promoters and the blind Adelaide Byrd ) had Canelo winning. 6%

    Notable scorers:

    For Canelo:

    Chavez snr
    Morales

    For a draw:

    Roy Jones
    Tommy Hearns
    George Foreman (maybe)

    For Golovkin:

    Teddy Atlas
    Kelly Pavlik
    Harold Lederman
    Devon Alexander
    Dan Rafael
    Al Bernstein
    Sergio Martinez
    Amir Khan
    Shane Mosley
    Paulie Malignaggi
    Terence Crawford
    Peter Quillan
    Badou Jack
    Sergei Kovalev
    Joseph Parker
    Fernando Vargas
    Nonito Donaire
    Leo SantaCruz

The most common score was 8-4 for GGG

This is also the score that most closely resembles what went down.

Are we talking who wins for real or who gets the gift decision? Unless GGG can turn up the heat more and earlier then this is guna go 12 again and im sure Oscar hasnt paid for a draw this time, this time if Canelo sees the end he wins on some ridiculous score cards. The reality being ofcourse he has taken a bit of a beating again.

I think you are right for the most part but where I have a slightly different perspective is if Canelo stops running and goes toe to toe he may hurt GGG. When he did stop running in the first fight he landed some good counters. Not enough to win the fight but that is when he did his most effective work. He did have a couple nice counters coming off the ropes as well but he really scored when he set his feet and exchanged. He needs to have enough confidence to do this, though, to stand in and exchange. My sense is he feels he has enough working in his favor to not have to take that risk.

You have a point there, he did seem to succeed when he deared to go forward but there are at least two reasons why he seldom did/will do that.
    1. He cant fight for more than a minute without gassing. He simply can not act as #1 in a fight, he has to be on the back foot, slipping, dodging and making the most of those openings Golovkin gives him.
    2. He only lasted 12 rounds because of near perfectly executed move-counter strategy. Does he carry some power ? Absolutely. Is Golovkin unstopable? No one is. But as soon as backpedaling stops and he is right there to be hit, Golovkin will land, land a lot and land hard. I’m not even questioning Canelo’s chin here, it’s solid no doubt, it’s just totaly insane for him to give up his biggest assets and risk being sent to destination “fuc***” like that.

I would want to see it though :) dont think anyone has stood toe to toe with Genady long enough to not get dropped and shater his predator-like game plan.

The one thing that drove me nuts in the first fight that I think GGG can figure out training for the second fight is Canelo did the same slip move over and over and over again. GGG would throw the hard right and Canelo would just slip it bailing out to his left. I think GGG will see this, know that he has to step 6 inches further to his right so that he lands that big right hand as Canelo tries to slip away. If he does, I think GGG closes the show. But, like you said, they both have granite chins. Canelo has quicker hands, GGG has more natural power, though Canelo has good power as well. Canelo was definitely gassed around the 8th round through the 11th but rallied well to take the 12th by a hair. Should be a good rematch.
