Do you guys expect them to come out slugging/trading punches, or do you think it'll be a tactical feel-out round (similar to what occurred in their first fight)?

I know there is a lot of bad blood between the two and they genuinely hate each other, but I'm thinking neither will let their emotions take over. I'm guessing it'll be a slower round where Cotto circles to his left and jabs, while Margarito slowly walks forward with his jab pumping out. Maybe a couple exchanges here and there, but nothing too crazy.

I expect Margo to jump on Cotto from the opening bell to force miguel out of his comfort zone early and miguel showing a lot of the pivot/lateral movement, landing good solid jabs while margo tries to go to the body.

I expect 2 guys to throw punches at each other for 3 minutes.

I can see Cotto starting off more tentative. Illegal wraps or not, he's still in there with a guy who stopped him. that will always be on the back of his mind. So he needs to look at what happened the first fight, what went right the first 6 rounds, and do his best to replicate it, but at a better pace.

I still expect it to look more like the first bout. Cotto looking good early, but Margarito's pressure catching up eventually.

    This, if Cotto is smart.

Cotto looked pretty tired and very hittable later in the Mayorga fight. His defense for uppercuts and body punches is still pretty poor. Unless he can really bust up Margarito's right eye up badly, I think he's going to have to dip very deep if he wants to emerge with the victory. My pick is Cotto, but I wouldn't put any money on it.

I'm actually rooting for Cotto in this one. But you're right about how he looked late. And that's not good facing a volume puncher when often times, the other guys upps his output to keep up. Takes them out of their own game plan.

This is do or die fot Cotto. I think he can win, but my gut says MArgarito.

Cotto is going to be hauling ass, and Margarito is going to be trying to walk him down in the 1st. In fact, that's how the whole fight will go. Margarito will eat shot after shot as he comes in, but won't land as much as he did in the first fight, and will lose a somewhat dull UD.

Margo surprises everyone by winning the first round by using his jab.
