Not going to happen be realistic Leapai is not a great opponent but Wlad shouldn't be criticized for facing him as his the WBO mandatory and since Vitali has retired Wlad is very close to unifying the division
Audley is almost unique in boxing. Can anyone think of anyone else has poor as him that has earned as much money, is as famous and had as many opportunities?
Well he's much better than the likes of Leapai, Pianeta and Mormeck who he's been fighting, so why not? If Harrison had took his career seriously back in his psysical prime (04-06) he would have met the worst version of Wlad (Coming of Brewster loss and Williamson scare, no confidence in his ability at all) and I would have gave him the edge, Harrison was more talented (Watch/compare Lezin fights who was 2-1 with Wlad and 0-2 with Audley) he had more tools and all psysical advantages over Wlad unlike most opponents. A key thing in this fight is how the southpaw stance, ever since the Sanders loss Wlad has either been super cautious with southpaws (Chagaev, Ibragimov) or struggled (Thompson I, who didn't have the skill set or speed to really cause enough trouble) this should be taken in to account. Ok this fight won't happen now, my point is that this could have been a good fight back then and Audley shouldn't be laughed at when Wlad is fighting much worse opp lately (bar Povetkin)
If Audley comes back and beats Chisora or Charr, then he can get a title shot :yep Audley has a chance to beat both
