It's actually Brickfists 'record' from a while. I thought I would just dig it out for laughs again.

    Yes, I am 0-0.

    40-24.

13-4 the last season. Almost all fights were international. The first two losses were robberies. The third loss were to a Swede with about 160 bouts (which I avenged two months ago). The fourth loss came to Imre Szello of Hungary, which had 242 bouts.

So far this season I'm 4-1. The only loss were to a German with 130 bouts. I didn't really lose that fight...

I didn't know you beat Skoglund in a rematch. Was that the one on TV?

7-5 but honestly three of the losses where due to conditioning where I was winning the fight but had my hands by my sides by the third.

great to see people posting their real records, even if they are unflattering numbers.

It's incredibly difficult to acquire a 0.500 record in amateur boxing. no matter what your record, you garner my ultimate respect.

amateur boxing is crazy. the conditioning, the ability to freestyle, the unpredictability of it etc

sometimes, it's easier at the olympics cos you know who you are fighting, their record, you've seen them etc in the beginning you are almost fighting blind in terms of style, record, not knowing their conditioning, character etc

    props to you all.

my best advice - never give up. it takes a LONG time to realise your full potential as an amateur. I think Dominik Guinn went 3-33 and then suddenly it hit home and he went 330-38. something like that.
