    Vote.

(the bottom 7-5 should be mayweather and not maidana)

someone has to edit that bottom 7-5 maidana to mayweather for me. That was a mistake.

Clear win for maidana he was clearly the aggressor in the fight and we should always favour the guy who is pressing the action rather then the guy who is passive.

    Had 7-4-1
    116-113 Maidana

Don't agree with this as a general rule, but in this case Maidana landed the better shots as the aggressor, so yeah he should have gotten the nod.
Counter example would be Pacquiao-Marquez 3 where Pac was the aggressor, but JMM landed pretty much all the good shots. That was not the case in this fight.

seem someone is utterly clueless as to what boxing scoring is based on.

effective aggression is good but ineffective aggression is not something to be helpful.

    clean effective punching
    ring generalship
    and
    defense.

    that's the primary scoring criteria..

The four basic criteria for scoring a boxing match: clean punching, effective aggressiveness, ring generalship, and defence. Mayweather clearly won, anyone who thinks otherwise doesn't know what they are on about.

Ineffective aggression is not a scoring measure for judging. Maidana was aggressive but he didn't land he missed shots or punched PBF in the back of the head which weren't counted because they are illegal. You can't favor a guy simply because he's throwing but not landing not scoring while the other guy isn't throwing as much but is landing the cleaner harder shots at greater percentage and scoring. Boxing doesn't work like the way you think it does.

The emphasis should always be on clean effective punching not aggression

Clean effective punching is important, but lets also remember that it's a FIGHT.
    Who got punished?
What is an "effective" punch, essentially?

Those temple shots and body hooks he kept eating would have put him down if not for the pillow issue.
It was a ***** move, but also a genius move, in hindsight.
