I'm not joking the fight is scored over 12 rounds not 6. Maidana did land alot of shots to the back of PBF's head that you thought counted but didn't because they are illegal. 2 of the judges saw this and thus he was not rewarded with landed punches. PBF clearly landed the more clean shots at a higher %.
I personally scored 8-4 may although mayweather spent a lot of time on the ropes maidana wasn't very effective on the ropes at all. He just held mayweather and through a bunch of punches but they were hardly landing. I actually commend the two judges who scored for mayweather becuase I had two seperate score cards and both cards matched their cards exactly. I'm not mad at the draw judge but it takes skills to accurately score the fight correctly as it's happening as the two judges who scored for mayweather did.
People who scored the fight for Maidana are either biased or simply don't have a clue how to score a fight.
One that lands flush on a scoring area with the knuckle portion of the glove, it's pretty simple really, which is why it winds me up when people spout bullsh*t about how "subjective" boxing scoring is.
Punished? You mean getting hit in the back of the head almost thrown out of the ring? I bet you think Maidana should have gotten points for throwing PBF down to? Please stop. People like you are not a true boxing fan and see boxing as guys going toe to toe and if someone decides to box they are a pu ssy or a runner or boring. To hell with defense ring generalship clean effective punching shouldn't matter only aggression.:-( To bad boxing doesn't work the way you like it to. this isn't tough man this is boxing.
Didn't you see Broner-Paulie? Body shots are to be disregarded in scoring. Unless its potshot jabs to the body by basketball-american fighters. Then it's the epitome of slickness and skill.:rofl
