    i watched the fight live at the sports bar. the whole place went into an uproar when they announced Ward had won. several people i talked to, including my Dad thought Kovalev should've won. a few told me Ward deserved it. i was on the fence so i decided to re-watch it a week later and wrote down the following scorecard:

    Rd 1 Kovalev
    Rd 2 Kovalev
    Rd 3 Ward
    Rd 4 Kovalev
    Rd 5 Ward
    Rd 6 Kovalev
    Rd 7 close but Ward
    Rd 8 close but Ward
    Rd 9 Ward
    Rd 10 close but Kovalev
    Rd 11 close but Kovalev
    Rd 12 close but Ward

    so i had it 6 rounds even. but with the knockdown,Kovalev would edge it by 1 point. some of the rounds were so close the decision could've gone either way.

    The thing with this fight is there is no way ward win more than 6 rounds, you'll have to bent over backwards for him to give him the nod.
