Sloppy fight. Chilemba landed a lot of jabs, especially early, but didn't mount enough offense consistently for me to give him 5 or 6 rounds. Kovalev's refusal to keep his right hand up (even when throwing punches) is a big defensive hole. He needs to tighten up his technique (hands and feet), particularly when throwing punches.

 

Chilemba won 4 rds.

Let's make this out to be anything we shouldnt have known was going to happen.

He's crafty, got an iron chin, good size, and knows how to spoil with the best of em.

Kovalev's best chance of getting the KO would have been early or late.

Most knew it wasnt gonna happen and everyone should have predicted a 116-111 or 117-111 type win. :think
