117-112 for Diaz. I dont usually give drawn rounds but one of the rounds the feed was so ****ed I only think i saw less than one completed minute of it. I thought the only think I could do is give it drawn. I will have to watch it again. I remember that in the rbr most said it was a better round for Katsidas, so it probably was quite close, cant recall what round it was though. Chucked out the piece of paper i wrote the score on. Rocky was brave but so much of his work was landing on glove & arm and so much of Diaz's was landing clean.
I didn't keep a scorecard, but a mental note after each round in the fight, which I watched just now. I saw it as a wash for Diaz. I struggle to give Katsidis even two rounds. Everything he did, Diaz simply did better. And yes, Katsidis was outclassed, albeit competitive. He simply did not win the rounds.
Kats competitive? ....more like clueless. Diaz just baffled him by moving away from his pressure with angles, and Diaz did the same when he went to Katsidis. Katsidis got outjabbed, outslugged, he lost the fight in close, mid-range, and long-range. Diaz beat him every way, it that simple. I only gave Kat's round 10 and had the 12th even. .....anything closer than 116-112 on any card is absolutely ridiculous!
That seems a bit generous, I'd go with Katsidis having about 2 rounds in the bank to Diaz' 10. I was supporting Katsidis but I knew Diaz had all the tools to beat him.
