Just re-watched this classic and my god was it difficult to score! Post your scorecards i bet there aren't many the same Round 1. 10-9 EM Round 2. 10-9 MAB Round 3. 10-9 EM Round 4. 10-9 EM Round 5. 10-9 EM Round 6. 10-9 MAB Round 7. 10-9 MAB Round 8. 10-9 MAB Round 9. 10-9 MAB (very debatable) Round 10. 10-9 EM Round 11 10-9 MAB Round 12 10-8 MAB Marco was robbed! I had trouble with the 9th but even giving it to Morales wouldn't have affected the outcome IMO that left hook from Marco in the 12th that dropped Morales won the fight. Great fight though pleased i spent the last 45 mins watching it again! :bbb:bbb
I don't think that this was a robbery by any stretch! I personally had Barrera winning all 3 fights by my scorecards, but they were all close and very debateable! I had Barrera winning I believe 115-112, but will see about rewatching and scoring it tonight! A great fight with 2 evenly matched opponents, calling it a robbery demeans it as a great fight imo!
I had Morales winning by one point last time I saw the fight. (3 or 4 years ago). Judging by these responses I might have to score it again...
I was watching all three in a row a few weeks ago and scored all one and three for MAB and two for EM. All three were close though but overall MAB proved his superiority imo. The first fight was 115-112 for MAB.
i scored it a Draw last 2 times i watched it Barrara gave plenty of accurate shots to the balls of Morales, not cool ha!
One thing that goes unnoticed to some people specially to those that keep mentioning that Morales threw more punches than Barrera and was outworking him in some rounds is the amount of punches that were blocked by MAB,watch it closely and you'll see what im talking about.

Very hard fight to score, a lot of rds could have gone either way, no robbery either way & the KD in the last rd was fake so I gave Barrera a 10-9 rd as opposed to a 10-8 rd. Anyone that uses the word `robbery` for this fight doesnt know ****.
Everyone of your posts these days are punctuated with something like that, Bill. "..And if anyone thinks _______ your ****ing ____".
Its not planned or anything, I usually just type what I feel. There might be more of those phrases popping up in the future, I think the FMJ-MP fiasco has pushed me over the edge just a touch.... just thinking about it now makes me twisted::|
116-112 Barrera. I've scored it plenty of times and always had Barrera winning by a decent margin. Different story in the second fight of course.
When i say robbed it was a figure of speech oh great one don't worry i will run my posts by you from now on to make sure they are worthy
I felt it was close in a lot of rounds but that Barrera just boxed smarter and had Morales off his game enough to upset him. I didn't think it was a robbery because of the rounds that could have gone either way. I did think Barrera won though.
