The way Duranimal deciphers the knowledgeable from the stupid is a very unique method indeed. If you're pro-Duran, you're knowledgeable, but if you ever caught ridiculing, criticizing, or discrediting Duran, you're on the other side of the fence. You'll find that out soon enough. Good post, Lora. Duranimal, very quickly, what's your take on The Hands of Stone's mountain of excuses? ...Legit question.
I had alot of even rounds because there was a bunch of them too close to call. 7-3 in rounds for Duran with 5 rounds even.
There were not many clean punches in that round but Duran was the one landing them. He only clowned in the final seconds. I thought it was another close round.
I had Duran 5 points ahead, and am surprised at the closer scorecards. Leonard just couldn't sustain anything significant. He'd land something good, then get mauled and maneuvered right back into Duran's fight. GREAT fight though, to me by the 13th it was obviously Duran's night, and at the time it was happening wouldn't have been surprised if SRL had gotten stopped late. Ray made it though, showing a lot of heart. He look mostly convinced of his defeat toward the very end for sure, at least to me he did.
He worked him pretty much in every phase. Duran outslugged Leonard, he was the aggressor effectively, Duran had the better defense even the better chin, Ring generalship was clear from the bell. It was his night.
