Havnt you seen Hopkins vs Mercado? :huh To me Hopkins showed he is a tough person in that fight, as i think someone who was weak wouldnt have responded to those conditions as he did. So yes, i think he has shown his toughness in the ring.

If you stop Glen Johnson, you're tough in my book.

No other fight IMO means what this fight means to him, and i dont think he looked uncomfortable, i think he looked focused, and 100% ready for what he intends to do tonight, and not in letting the crowd, or roy, get to him.

I gotta say i think people are going overboard in their analysis of whats happening in this staredown lol, as tends to be the case.

Hopkins simply always has a gimmick to do during weigh ins and face offs, but because hes not here, (because to me, this is more serious to him then that, there has never (IMO) been a fight that means more to hopkins then this fight) he doesnt, and it means that hes somehow rattled? I simply think hes 'in the zone' and ready for one of the most important fights of his life (to him) and a fight hes been waiting for, for a long, long, long time. And doesnt feel the need to do his usual schtick.... how is he going to outtalk roy? Hopkins is too smart for that, hes not going to wind up looking like Mosley trying to keep up with Mayweather.

its hopkins meaning buisness, staying focused, being ready and using his head.

i think B-Hop was acting anxious due too this fight being personal for him. Hopkins is the eternal underdog and very strong mentally. i doubt he was unconfident last night and i expect B-Hop to beat Roy clearly maybe even stop him.

Man I can't believe cats are booing B-Hop. You have to show love for both of these cats. If there ever was a fighter that was impenetrable mentally? It is B-Hop. I am glad to see Roy looking confident too. I hope he stays on his bicycle and uses that hand speed.

Even though I know this ain't the fight it should be I am getting hyped watching those two share space. Wow!

That video was weird Hopkins looked like he was in a hurry Jones was backing him up Naz had a strange look on his face looked like a panic. Jones looks alot stronger I think Bernard wins but just an interesting turn of events at the weigh in.

I don't think Bernard's behavior really means anything of significance. I think he will let his performance in the ring do the talking. I know it is unlike Hopkins to seem so passive at a weigh-in, but in this case I really think it means nothing. Hopkins W 12.

By the way....this is the first fight in Roy Jones' career that I am rooting for his opponent. I love Roy, as he is a fellow Floridian and doesn't live too terribly far from me. I actually know Roy's cousin. But, anyway, Roy had his day vs. Bernard and I will be rooting for B-Hop to get the W.
