How good was he in your opinion ?

His BJJ was really very good IMO, Carlson Gracie black belt, and I always liked his boxing, (Dave Menne I was a good example of this).....but I´m not sure how exactly I would rate him as a fighter...:think Only a decent and competitive fighter or a really good one !

    Tell me your opinion ?

He was a really good fighter at times that came along a little late in the game age wise.

Sure, he had some fights ages, and ages ago, but his best came so late that it hurt him.

He came very close to beating Rampage. Which would've been huge for his career. Tho I figure would've been KO'ed by Wand. But if he could keep distance, he might've stood a chance.

I thought he lost the 2nd Hendo fight. But had he got the nod in both, he'd be considered a legend.

One of the best BJJ fighters to adapt his style to compete in MMA in the middle ages. Not a great MMA fighter though

Alway love that he tapped Matt Lindland twice in one fight though

Gave prime Rampage a VERY tough fight. Dude was a stud. Not sure you could really call him a Mixed Martial Artist though as he was BJJ through and through.

I would.......I mean, for MMA standards his boxing was good, with a decent jab and a good and accurate right hand, his wrestling was very competitive, I even remember him being successful with some single legs against a wrestler like Henderson.....so I think he was pretty good at various things but yeah his strong thing was his level at BJJ......
