Your thoughts.... Khan vs maidana who will win and how?

Amir boxes the chops off him, barely loses a round, and takes a wide UD (slim chance of a late ref stoppage).

 

I think a Khan decision is the most likely outcome, followed by him being stopped by Maidana.

Khan has all the tools and skills to shut out Maidana but he can lose this fight with a split-second lapse in concentration (or just being unlucky). I don't think he'll commit to his punches (he'll be moving, jabbing ,evading) so I don't think he'll stop Maidana.

A lot of people are sleeping on Maidana i have to say; he's a lot sharper, quicker and technical than he's made out to be.

Fact is Khan IS going to get hit, by a guy that isn't far off being the p4p hardest puncher in the sport, even one landed shot could throw everything out of the window for him. He could well box the ears off Maidana but end up losing rounds cause of knockdowns (I cant see that though, if he gets tagged hard enough to go down i'm almost certain Maidana will end it then and there).

Maidana is going to eat hundreds of punches, alot of them flush because he just has a very mediocre defense and loops his power punches. He's got a magnificent chin so he won't go down but his corner or the ref will stop the fight.

Maidana's chance at beating any top fighter is to lure them into a toe-to-toe slugfest which Khan will not do. If Ortiz was given another crack at Maidana I'd bet he'd outbox and punish him all night long as well (albeit a closer contest than Khan-Maidana).

After 3 or 4 rounds of taking shots, Maidana's power will diminish and combined with a reluctance to throw punches due to being countered Khan will be in firm control by the mid-rounds.

Nope. I really dont think Khan will try and prove anything to the haters about his chin. He will execute the game plan and dominate pretty much every round.

Khan wont sit down on punches or trade unless Roach tells him too which wont be until maidana shows serious signs of fatigue (maybe rounds 10 to 12)

Khan will use his in out style and amazing jab to win round after round. His jab will be the key to winning the fight and he will make maidana look very bad all night. I dont even think Khan will get Knocked down through the whole fight but if he does he will recover, loose the round and continue to jab all night long.

I would love to say Khan by TKO but its a clear points victory for him all day long. I dont think he is going to use his power in this fight. Its all about winning rounds.

 

Maidana has never faced someone with the speed of Khan and Khan will be the bigger man.
Khan by TKO. Dont think Maidanas chin will hold up.

Maidana shoul work the body. If he goes headhunting the fight is over

Just read Khan got his preferred Reebok gloves and Joe Corteeezzzzzzzz (read with Michael Buffer's voice in mind) will be the referee, so this can give doubters the edge who to go for.
