I will go first... slick, conditiononed, nice skills, works some good angles, does some body work. That being said, I think he needs a fighter in front of him that comes in straight (like Hatton) or someone with a low activity level. Give him an opponent which is active and has some skills and he doesnt lift his game to the next level. Good, solid, but not a great fighter.
well hatton is not worth the **** on most people`s shoes according to the younger american posters on esb , so that makes collazo as one of the worst title holders in history/utter garbage/barely stand up let alone throw a punch. or am i exagerating ?
I would take Clottey. Collazo would get off to an early lead, but I see Clottey toughing it out and investing to the body. I like Collazo, but I see him as being fairly ordinary. Also, Clottey has underated speed and speed really troubled Collazo in the Mosely fight.
Thats funny, I thought his opponent was slipping his punches fairly well. Then again, Im watching it on a 3 inch display. :-(
ABC, I agree completely. I thought you said a while ago that you didn't think Collazo was "slick". I'm sure I could be mistaken but I thought it was you. Anyway, good assessment.
I don't remember it but I'm not saying it isn't true. Im watching him now, his is slick, although some of it is just his capitalizing off his southpaw stance being awkward to begin with.
Decent contender with speed and nice skills. Was defeated clearly by Mosley. Gave a lot of problems to Hatton in a fight that was very competitive, though it was an overweight Hatton that was 160 lbs. fight night -very different to the normal Hatton that usually weighs 154 lbs-.
