Isn't it a bit odd that the filming of that movie was during the Cotto-Judah fight...

I thought that was a bit...strange.

 

your point that no one knows for sure is valid and obvious. but to believe that it was only peppermint schnapps in order to quell an upset stomach because pryor needed to digest a steak or whatever the trainer said is a real stretch. why would panama wait till that point in the fight to get the "mixed" bottle to aid his digestion? don't think pryor told him his belly ached before panama called for the special bottle. you can't ignore the facts we do know: panama called for the special bottle deep into the fight and pryor comes alive dramatically soon thereafter. plus you have resto saying that panama gave him something similar in the collins fight (obviously he could be lying as he has done many times but why lie now to make his culpability even more as he already admitted to the glove issue). these alone lend one to surmise that the mixture likely included some type of stimulating agent.

Excuse me do you have asthma? have you ever used inhalers or had to take pills for it?.. I have and you dont know **** inhale your inhaler and hold you breath and count to ten and tell me you cant feel the effect of it.. Ive had asthma for most my life and my friends used to use my inhaler to get high in school.. oh and i drink a lot of caffiene and have taken caffiene pills at work.... it isnt even comparable.

I just said in my previous post I believe it was peppermint schnapps with something else probably a stimulant of some sort. Some of you need to learn to read. And Pryor drank from the bottle after the second round also which would lead to the idea it was to help settle his stomach. I know it was illegal and I also realize that there is a 99% chance there was more than just peppermint schnapps in that bottle but NOBODY knows except Lewis who mixed it. Nobody on this message board knows for a fact what was in the bottle and we probably never will as Panama Lewis has been on record saying it was several different things at different times. I do not find Resto or Lewis even semi reliable.

There isn't enough evidence to actually go back and overturn the fight, but I think EVERYONE should now look at Aaron Pryor and any of Panama's fighters with a shadow of skepticism. I certainly do. I will never have Aaron Pryor on any of my "top anything" lists.

 

the Aaron Pryor that fought Arguello was the same Pryor from previous fights,people trying to discredit him cause of the black bottle probably only saw his fight with Arguello.

He was just better than Arguello at that weight and he proved it in the rematch without any of the "black bottle" bull****.

 

whatever i can't read every one of your stupid posts so i'm sorry if i missed where you conceded (finally?) that there was likely a 'stimulant' in there with the "schnapps". BTW, if you do think there was a stimulant in there why are you bothering to try and defend these guys

 

Jesus christ are you ******ed? Where have I defended ANY of them? All I said is that I believe if Artie Curley said there was peppermint schnapps in the bottle that it was in there. That is all I have said. I have not defended Lewis, Resto or anyone else.

I believe that there was indeed peppermint schnapps in the bottle ALONG with "something" else perhaps a stimulant of some sort. That is not "defending" anyone. And I realize it is ILLEGAL for anything other than water to be in the bottle and have never said different.

Do you understand that?

And also your first few posts in the thread you seemed to be saying it was only schnapps or at least it was clearly unkown (i.e., 50/50 or less that there was stimulants in it). you were the ****** if you believed that

 

I NEVER said it was only schnapps. For the last time I SAID THAT IF CURLEY SAID THERE WAS SCHNAPPS IN THERE THAT I BELIEVE HIM.

Furthermore, NOBODY on here knows 100% what was in the ****ing black bottle.

Panama Lewis knows what was in the bottle because he mixed it. I don't expect him to ever say what was in there so we will never know.

That is the only point I have made and I certainly have not defended anyone in this thread. They are all a bunch of scum bags.
