I like Al. He's pretty insightful on the sport and has a great knowledge of history. The only thing I'll say, and it might just be his temperament, but he doesn't like to be too controversial or "rock the boat".
If I was fighting on TV I'd want Bernstein commenting. Always has a cheerful demeanor and good stuff to say about everyone.
He's a pretty good commentator. He does not hate White European boxers nearly as much as most Jewish announcers/media types.
He's background noise. Completely irrelevant. Paulie has owned him in every way since he came to Showtime.
