I noticed when he threw the right uppercut, Forbes landed some good counter left hooks, he just didn't have the power to hurt Berto. I see Berto getting dropped by an elite WW.

Berto looked very good. Another step up is in order for him.

Not at all impressed with Andre Berto ... he was getting hit too much and flush ... I think if he fought a more aggressive puncher, that he would get knocked out.

I fight against Judah wouldn't do anything to help Berto ... even though that would be a good voluntary defense ... he's better off fighting Luis Collazo ... who just might knock his ass out.

Berto's stamina impressed me, he had the same speed and combo's from rnd 1-12. His power is not what some may think though, and he needs to settle down; not to mention he is indeed a sucker for feints. i think a tough elite good puncher will catch him and KTFO him. They need to keep him away from Margo,Williams,Cintron, and possibly even Shane and Quintana

The handspeed is very impressive but we already knew that. If Collazo is next we're gonna have to continue to wait until Berto's chin is tested.

Fight someone with a pulse already. Thats what I kept thinking as I forwards through his fight on my dvr. I have no intention of watching him until he fights a worthy opponent.

Agreed. Even Judah would be ok but he's gotten too many undeserving title shots as it is.

I was impressed by berto in terms of his stanima, forbes is hard to hit and berto chased him down, showed great workrate and yet did not tire. I was also impressed with his improved defense, which will do well in terms of him covering up what many critics would call a shake chin. I would like to see berto get in the ring with kermit cintron in particular because I want to see how he reacts with somebody who has punching ability. It also gives him more experence with a taller guy something that he is going to have to get use to if he ever gets in the ring with a williams or margarito.

Very entertaining fighter, but still too green to fight the class of the division. Collazo then Zab or maybe Quintana then Cintron then...?

I think the fact that he holds a title in a talent rich division could be a problem for him.

He is young and unproven at the elite level, he would get ruined by Margarito, Cotto and I think Clottey & Williams would be a bit to much at this stage. If he keeps winning, a fight with one of those guys could happen to soon for him IMO.

I think he is up the top of the second tier fighters at the weight and is pushing himself into the top tier. I like him and he is a talent no doubt.
