Thanks for your response Psychopath. You are right, no one should care about my impression on a prize fighter. I am just a fan of Boxing and this forum. I will try to limit my comments in the future.

Berto looked good despite the slow start he came alive after the 3rd round and started to outclass Forbes. He did show some defensive lapses that will cost him against the elite but overall solid effort.

Berto-Cotto is the fight that should be made next.

Berto seemed like he relied to much on his youth not his experience, he was faster but what is he going to do when he faces a guy who walks through his punches he has no plan B

He reminds me of the baby bull just more raw not alot of skill but has speed and heart

Berto is really sketchy to me, Hes to wild and agrresive. He hits hard but not that hard. When he faces somebody really good he's gonna get his ass whooped.

The most inaccruate gifted fighter in recent memory. Just look back at his fights with Urango, Collazo and Berto. He must've thrown 500 bad intention punches behind his blazing hand speed but landed just a dozen or so. It's almost comical to watch this guy fight. All bad intentions with ZERO accuracy.

Agreed. I think he has to show his power against the top boys now, doesn't seem like he will knock any one out judging from last 2 fights.

You are asking a Shane fan. Suger will make him look silly. Shane knows
he has a chance to be # 1 if he gets the chance. He will be prepared for
    Berto.

Well developed fighter. Picked the right guys to look good against. Managed to beat an unknown to get a vacant strap. He hast struggled to impress latley. He is good but this fight is make or break. Is he for real we will see.

    Good fighter --- not great.
Not ready and probably never will be for any of the top 5 welters.

I agree, or that will follow him around for his entire career.

A Berto-Cotto fight hasn't happened NOT because of Berto's unwillingness. :deal

And I agree that he did lose to Collazo by 1 point, (which, btw, is by no means an indication of how a fight against Cotto would transpire.)
